ABOUT US
Tannlin was founded on the development of the first stencil laser cutting system and has been focused on high accuracy thin metal laser solutions ever since. Capabilities have expanded, encompassing customised laser cutting systems, high accuracy laser processing and electronic assembly support products. Tannlin’s ability to bring innovative solutions to the market for it’s customers can be attributed to continuous investment in research and development, quality and process control.
Taking advantage of emerging laser and motion technology, our aim is to create and maintain an environment and culture which promotes innovative design and production.
Tannlin have a proven track record in high accuracy laser cutting covering 25 years. Through this experience our engineering teams have developed a strong understanding of our customer’s processes and requirements. We combine this broad range of experience across multiple industries to supply each customer with the best solution that meets their requirements.

GLOBAL PRESENCE
Tannlin Group Limited is a privately held company, its headquarters lying 30 miles south of Glasgow, adjacent to Prestwick International Aerospace Park, in Scotland. Within the Group, which supplies customers in aerospace, medical, defence, electronic and automotive industries, are two complementary businesses – Tannlin Technology Ltd and Tannlin UK Ltd. Tannlin Technology designs and manufactures laser cutting systems and laser cut parts and is the home of the research and development team; Tannlin UK designs and manufactures laser cut stencils and PCBA tooling. With a common set of values and standards, all those involved in the business strive to continuously deliver the highest-quality products. Manufacturing sites and sales offices worldwide allow Tannlin to work closely with its customers in the 28 countries that we have exported to.

Through the Investors in Young People Award Tannlin was recognised for investing in supporting young people to enter and develop in the workplace. Tannlin has also received from Skills Scotland the Award for an Outstanding Contribution to Youth Employment.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
All of Tannlin’s stencils are recyclable. We currently have a number of customers who are committed, and we actively encourage all our customers to participate. High quality materials are used to ensure the durability of products.
Tannlin’s innovative Multi Level Process (TML) is not only superior to the existing chemical based processes widely used in the electronics industry, it also removes polluting waste products entirely from stencil production, and massively reduces the energy required to make a multilevel stencil.
Cycle to Work scheme that provides bicycles for staff and encourages cycling to work. Tannlin is a Cycle Friendly Organisation.
