The Tannlin approach to Research and Development involves understanding market requirements to technology concepts to full product realisation. Although our ethos is one of creativity and innovation we operate under a strict quality management system and product development process. Each design project strictly follows our concurrent product design process ensuring that we are able to deliver products to specification, on time and on budget. Our development expertise covers many areas with a specific capability in Mechanical, Electronic, Software and Laser Technologies.
Our core development systems enable us to 3D model designs and simulate functional operation and stresses.
Products will comply with country regulatory requirements including safety and EMC through the use of our accredited test and compliance partners.

- 2001 - Tannlin established itself as the UK Blue Chip & Tier 1 stencil supplier.
- 2003 - Tooling and machining capability added as a company core competence.
- 2004- Vectorguard patented foil handling system released to the marketplace.
- 2004 - Tannlin sell the first T3 laser cutting system.
- 2005 - Tannlin T8 diode pumped fibre based laser cutting system announced to the market place.
- 2006 - The Vectorguard foil handling system license purchased by DEK.
- 2008 - Tannlin T8 laser cutting system serial number 40 shipped in December.
- 2009 - Tannlin Stencil manufacturing facility opened in Hook, Hampshire in Febuary.
- 2009 - The new Tannlin T8vs Stencil Cutting System released to the marketplace in March.
